Zenith Bank Crowned Nigeria’s Best Bank At 2025 Euromoney Awards

Zenith Bank Plc has been named Nigeria’s Best Bank at the 2025 Euromoney Awards for Excellence, earning top honours for its strong financial performance, strategic innovation, and leadership in digital banking and sustainability.
The highly competitive awards attracted more than 770 entries from top-tier global financial institutions such as HSBC, Morgan Stanley, Citibank, Barclays, DBS, and Standard Bank. Despite the stiff competition, Zenith Bank emerged as the standout Nigerian institution.
Euromoney’s annual awards celebrate banks that exemplify innovation, resilience, and market leadership, with winners assessed on performance, service excellence, and long-term strategy.
Reacting to the win, Zenith Bank’s Group Managing Director and CEO, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, said:
“We are absolutely thrilled to be recognized as Nigeria’s Best Bank by Euromoney.”
Zenith Bank has continued to receive widespread recognition for its consistent growth and performance. In 2025, it was ranked Nigeria’s Number One Bank by Tier-1 Capital in The Banker’s Top 1000 World Banks list—for the 16th consecutive year.

- Bank of the Year (Nigeria) by The Banker in 2020, 2022, and 2024
- Best Bank in Nigeria by Global Finance in 2020, 2021, 2022, 2024, and 2025
- Best Bank for Digital Solutions by Euromoney in 2023
