Yinka Theisen Speaks on Edochie Family, Alleges Tribal Bias and Betrayal

Yinka Theisen speaks on Edochie family in a revealing Instagram Live interview with actor Uche Maduagwu, where she opened up about her short-lived marriage to Linc Edochie and the controversies that followed.
Before the live session, Yinka, a US-based nurse, took to Facebook to announce her decision to break her silence and share her side of the story. Speaking on Friday night, July 4, she claimed she was thrown under the bus by the Edochie family and believes it was due to tribal discrimination.
“I don’t appreciate the way the family threw me under the bus. I asked Linc, is it because I’m Yoruba? And he said he believes so,” Yinka alleged during the live session. Her comments have stirred reactions online as Yinka Theisen speaks on Edochie family with emotional candor.
She also addressed the controversy involving leaked phone numbers. Yinka denied accusations that she leaked the contact details of Leo Edochie, the eldest son, and another member of the family. She insisted she had no hand in making the numbers public, which reportedly led to both men being bombarded with calls.
However, it’s worth noting that Yinka had earlier leaked May Edochie’s phone number, accusing her of staying silent while her fanbase, known as May Nation, allegedly harassed her online. In retaliation, May Nation later shared the numbers of Leo and Linc Edochie online.
Despite the backlash, Yinka Theisen speaks on Edochie family to clear her name, stating firmly that she had no involvement in leaking the brothers’ numbers.
Yinka also called out actress Rita Edochie, who is Linc Edochie’s aunt. She accused Rita of publicly pretending to support May Edochie while allegedly stirring trouble behind the scenes. According to Yinka, this hypocrisy has further damaged her already strained relationship with the family.
Yinka married Linc Edochie in June 2025, but their marriage quickly drew attention when she began openly showing support for Yul Edochie and his second wife, Judy Austin — a move that angered supporters of May Edochie, Yul’s first wife.
Now, as Yinka Theisen speaks on Edochie family once again, she maintains her innocence and insists her intentions have been misunderstood. Her recent revelations have reignited public interest in the ongoing drama surrounding the Edochie family.
