Tacha Claps Back at Solomon Buchi Over Viral UK Homecoming Comment

A heated exchange has erupted between media personality Solomon Buchi and reality TV star Tacha, following a video of Tacha’s recent homecoming celebration from the UK that sparked online debate.
Solomon Buchi had quoted the viral clip of Tacha being warmly received by fans and friends in Nigeria, sarcastically writing:
“This is literally the reason Nigerian celebrities don’t like moving abroad, because they’ll miss the jobless Nigerians who fawn over them like this lmao.”
The comment didn’t sit well with Tacha, who fired back with a scathing response on X (formerly Twitter), accusing Buchi of hypocrisy and projecting his own frustrations:
“Calling Nigerians jobless but you set professional camera with mic talking about me! – screams joblessness – Better be thanking your wife for housing you, ‘cause you’ve been in the UK for God knows how long — job you never see. Now you’re just a worthless house husband with a ring light. Cry baby cryyyy.”
The fiery clapback quickly went viral, with fans divided over the exchange. While some supported Buchi’s critique of celebrity culture, others praised Tacha for standing her ground and defending her fans.
The spat has reignited conversations about classism, the pursuit of fame abroad, and the irony of influencers critiquing the very attention they rely on. As the drama unfolds online, one thing is clear: neither side is backing down anytime soon.
