Wike Hails Political Tinubu, Calls Himself Nigeria’s Luckiest Politician

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Friday described himself as the luckiest politician in Nigeria, crediting his strong network of loyal friends across the country.
Wike made the remarks during the commissioning of the newly constructed Arterial Road N5 (Obafemi Awolowo Way), which links Life Camp Junction to Ring Road III (RR3), in Abuja.
The event was part of activities marking President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second year in office. Representing the President at the occasion was the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume.
Speaking during the ceremony, Wike said: “Mr. President, let me just say this: I don’t think there’s any politician as fortunate as I am. Each time we host an event in Abuja, my friends come all the way from different states—Rivers, Abia, Enugu, Sokoto, Cross River—you name them.”
He went on to thank his supporters and fellow politicians for their continued presence and loyalty.
“With your kind permission, Mr. President, I want to thank the people of Rivers State and indeed all Nigerians. Those of you who are here today, please take a bow before Mr. President. You are truly worthy of commendation,” he added.
