Victor Osimhen Joins Galatasaray In €75 Million Deal From Napoli

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has completed a sensational €75 million transfer to Turkish giants Galatasaray from Serie A side Napoli.
Galatasaray confirmed the deal on Thursday, July 31, via their official social media channels, stating that the agreement includes a 10% sell-on clause for Napoli in any future profit from Osimhen’s next transfer.
The 26-year-old Nigerian forward has signed a four-year contract that will commence in the 2025–2026 season. As part of the deal, Osimhen will earn a net annual salary of €15 million, alongside a €1 million loyalty bonus and €5 million per year in image rights.
Osimhen spent the previous season on loan at Galatasaray, where he played a key role in helping the club secure both the Turkish Super Lig and Turkish Cup titles. His outstanding performances during the loan spell prompted the club to make his move permanent.
He arrived in Istanbul on Wednesday, July 30, to a rousing reception from thousands of Galatasaray fans who flooded the airport to welcome their new star.
The transfer marks the end of Osimhen’s successful stint at Napoli, where he won the hearts of fans and led the team to a historic Serie A title in the 2022–2023 season.
