Sokoto Governor Signs 2025 Budget, Pledges More Development Projects

Governor Ahmed Aliyu of Sokoto state has signed the 2025 Appropriation Bill into law, pledging to continue delivering people-focused projects that will enhance the lives of Sokoto residents.
Speaking about the achievements of the 2024 budget, the Governor described it as a success and vowed to sustain the progress in the coming years.
“We are committed to bringing more dividends of democracy to our people,” he said.
In a press release signed by the press secretary to the Governor, Governor Aliyu reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to tackle insecurity and expressed gratitude to the State Assembly for the swift passage of the budget, as well as to the people for their unwavering support and prayers.
Speaker of the State Assembly, Rt. Hon. Tukur Bala Bodinga, lauded the Governor’s impactful leadership and assured continued legislative support for his transformative agenda.
