NYSC begins 2024 Batch C Stream II Orientation Exercise

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has officially announced the opening of the 2024 Batch C Stream II Orientation Camp today, Wednesday, January 22, 2025, across states in Nigeria.
The announcement, made through the NYSC’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle, directed prospective corps members (PCMs) to report to their designated camps as stated on their call-up letters.
PCMs are required to arrive with all necessary documents and survival packs for the three-week orientation program.
Deployment letters for the batch have been released, enabling PCMs to access their service year details. The NYSC advised all corps members to prioritize safety while traveling, cautioning against traveling at night. Prospective corps members are also reminded to print and sign the required addendum form, which must be submitted during camp registration.
Some PCMs deployed to Lagos State will have their orientation in Ekiti, Ondo, or Osun camps, while those deployed to the Federal Capital Territory may have their orientation in Nasarawa or Kaduna camps. These adjustments were made for logistical reasons.
The NYSC program, established in 1973, is a one-year mandatory service designed to promote national unity, integration, and development. It includes a three-week orientation camp, a primary assignment phase, and a community development service period.
The NYSC urged all prospective corps members to comply with these directives and stay updated through its official social media platforms.
