Nigerian Air Force Warns Public Against Fake Recruitment Adverts

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has issued a strong warning to the general public over the circulation of fake recruitment advertisements online. The misleading messages falsely claim that the NAF has commenced recruitment for the 2025/2026 Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) and the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC).
In an official statement, the NAF clarified that no recruitment exercise is currently ongoing. Members of the public are therefore advised to completely disregard such fraudulent claims.
The Nigerian Air Force emphasized that its recruitment and enlistment processes are free, transparent, and strictly merit-based. It does not charge any fees at any stage of the recruitment process, nor does it engage any third-party agents or intermediaries. Any genuine recruitment exercise will be formally announced and widely publicized through national newspapers, the official NAF website, and its verified social media platforms.
The public is urged to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to scammers promoting unauthorized recruitment links.
For accurate and up-to-date information, the NAF encourages citizens to rely solely on its verified communication channels:
