Momoh Advocates Entrepreneurship, Discipline Among Corps Members

Prince Mohammed Momoh, Director, Ventures Management, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship and discipline among corps members during a visit to the Iyana-Ipaja orientation camp in Lagos.
Prince Momoh urged 2024 Batch C Stream I corps members to leverage the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) program for financial independence.
Prince Momoh, who described the orientation exercise as the foundation for a successful service year, urged corps participants to remain focused and develop themselves.
He emphasized the importance of the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, describing it as a pathway to financial independence for Nigerian youths.
He admonished corps members to dedicate sufficient time to mastering relevant skills that could serve as a sustainable source of income.
He further highlighted the significance of dedication to service, assuring corps members that the NYSC remains committed to supporting diligent participants.
He advised them to adhere to NYSC bye-laws, avoid night travels, shun criminal activities, and build meaningful networks.
In her welcome address, the Lagos State Coordinator, Mrs. Christiana Salmwang provided a detailed update on camp activities, noting that corps members had integrated seamlessly into their platoons and were actively participating in various exercises with enthusiasm.
Prince Momoh,who later met with NYSC officials, encouraged them to be more dedicated to their jobs and take good care of their health.
