Marcus Rashford Joins Barcelona On Season-Long Loan From Manchester United

Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has sealed a season-long loan move to Barcelona.
The 27-year-old England international joins the La Liga side on an initial 12-month deal, with Barcelona holding the option to make the move permanent in 2026 for £30.3 million (€35 million).
As part of the agreement, Barcelona will cover Rashford’s full wages during the loan spell, after the striker agreed to a pay cut. The move is expected to save Manchester United between £14 million and £15 million over the next year.
Rashford trained with his new teammates for the first time on Tuesday and is expected to be included in the squad flying to Japan for Barcelona’s pre-season tour of Asia on Thursday.
This marks Rashford’s second loan spell and his first move away from the Premier League, having spent his entire career at Manchester United since debuting in 2016. He has scored 138 goals in 426 appearances and currently ranks 15th on the club’s all-time top scorers list.
