Brown Ideye Calls Out Enyimba Over Unpaid Bonuses, Alleges Poor Player Welfare

Enyimba forward Brown Ideye has called out the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club over unpaid bonuses from the previous season.
Taking to X, the former Super Eagles striker alleged that the Aba-based side is yet to settle his match bonuses, despite the 2024/2025 season ending in May.
“Because I get money, I should not ask for the one I worked for? Please pay me and the players last season’s match bonuses. @EnyimbaFC, the season ended in May, till now nothing. Next season will start next month,” Ideye wrote.
The veteran striker also revealed that players were paid just ₦7,000 per day for meals throughout the season — a claim the former NPFL champions have yet to deny.
