Man Arrested for Killing His Father in Bauchi State During Argument

A man arrested for killing his father in Bauchi State has shocked residents of Uzum Village, Giade Local Government Area. The suspect, identified as Limam Muhammad Baba, allegedly struck his biological father, Malam Baba Siti, during a heated argument that turned deadly.

The tragic incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 3, according to a report shared by security analyst Zagazola Makama on X. Makama stated that an altercation broke out between Limam and his father before Limam hit the elder Siti on the head with a stick.

“The victim collapsed on the spot and lost consciousness,” Makama wrote, citing information from police sources.

Shortly after the man arrested for killing his father attacked the victim, the case was reported to the Giade Divisional Police Headquarters at about 10:30 p.m. A police team immediately visited the scene, apprehended the suspect, and evacuated the injured man to the General Hospital in Giade.

Sadly, a medical doctor confirmed that Malam Baba Siti was dead on arrival. His body was deposited at the hospital morgue pending further investigation.

Police authorities assured the public that a thorough investigation is ongoing. They emphasized that the man arrested for killing his father in Bauchi State will be charged to court as soon as the investigation is concluded.
