Lagos Police Command Arraigns Most Wanted Suspected Criminal in Court

The Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has Arraigned a suspected kingpin Wasiu Akinwade ,A.K.A ( Olori Eso) before a Magistrate court in Ogba,Lagos state on Tuesday.

He is said to have been terrorising residents in the Mushin area from 2009 to 2024, organizing and executing murders, armed robberies and kidnappings.

The suspect who the Police described as the most wanted vicious criminal in the state and a notorious hired killer was escorted into the Samuel Ilori Cider house, Ogba ,Lagos to face  charges brought against him by the State Police command.

One Quadri Yusuf, brother of late Bolakanle Yusuf who spoke to journalists present at the court premises explained that the suspect Wasiu Akinwade shot and killed his late elder brother in July 2024 and fled the scene of the incident until his recent arrest by the Nigeria Police.

Narrating her ordeal after the death of her son, the mother of the late victim, Hadjia Bolakale Yusuf called for justice over her son’s untimely death

Wasiu Akinwade was said to have caused fears by terrorising residents in the Mushin area of Lagos state.

Wasiu Akinwande according to the Police was arrested in his hideout in the Agbado area of Ogun State where some catches of arms and ammunition  including AK 47 rifles ,fake passports were allegedly recovered from him.

Several persons, including family members of persons allegedly killed by Olori Eso, are also in court in their quest for justice.
