“Incoming” is a Sacred Phrase Use to Ridicule – Ebonyi Youth

An Ebonyi Youth, Comr Okwuru Clement has taken to his Facebook handle to express dismay at the continuous calling of some individuals “Incoming”, adding that it’s just a gimmick to mock the person.
“The word “Incoming” is another holy way of making a mockery” Okwuru Clement posted.
Comr Okwuru hails from Effium where a crisis resulted in a pogrom that claimed lives and properties and a cousin to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ebonyi State, Dr Monday Uzor was among those who promoted the incumbent Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF during the pre and post election.
Investigation showed that he is a member of FON Media and still uses his Facebook handle to promote the good works of the Governor even without a monthly stipend.
Asiwaju Media observed that, after the election, it was expected that the Media Team would be on the payroll but the pendulum changed as they were abandoned until last year during the yuletide when they paid a visit to the Governor, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru FNIOB GGCEHF and he gave them undisclosed amount of money to share among themselves.
Our reporter viewed Okwuru’s post as an expression of what he is going through at the hands of his friends who expected that he would be appointed as Media Aide to the Governor as the former Governor, Engr Dave Nweze Umahi did to his media crew.
In the comment section, he threatened: Any Day, wey person go address me as incoming! Na police we go dey settle am.
However, netizens who were dropping comments on the post seem to be making a mockery of him.
“When the time is right you will come” Onele Onyebuchi Purity commented
“If they call you incoming…just turn and run, don’t look back or you go bankrupt” Nelson Igboke commented
“Stop playing, the incoming, I won friend police self” Ginika Igwe commented.
