Jane Edidiong Ufot, daughter of Akwa Ibom State Governor Umo Eno, has made explosive allegations against her father in a now-viral video, claiming there is a sinister plot to harm her and her child.

In the emotional footage circulating online, Jane—who currently serves as the governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Health, Safety, and Environment—accused Governor Eno of being involved in the death of her mother, the late First Lady Patience Umo Eno, who passed away in September 2024 after a prolonged, undisclosed illness.

“I am not a sacrifice. Mummy was, but I’m not,” she declared tearfully, expressing fear for her life and that of her young daughter.

In a tense moment captured in the video, her daughter is seen speaking to the governor via video call, asking, “So Grandpa, do you want them to kill us? Do you want us to die like my baby brother died?” The governor’s response was not heard in the clip.

Jane also issued a chilling warning: “If I die today or my daughter dies… my blood will not go scot-free,” suggesting that powerful forces are at play and vowing that any harm done to them would not go unanswered.

As of now, Governor Umo Eno has not issued any public statement in response to the allegations. The video has sparked widespread concern and debate across social media, with many calling for an independent investigation into the claims.
