Harry Kane reaches 60-goal milestone in Bundesliga with strike against Heidenheim
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has reached another remarkable goalscoring landmark, netting his 24th Bundesliga goal of the season in the club’s fixture against Heidenheim on Saturday.
The goal takes Kane’s total to 60 in the German top-flight since the beginning of the 2023/24 campaign, making him the only player in Europe’s top five leagues to surpass the 50-goal mark during that period, according to StatMuse FC.
The England captain, who joined Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2023, has been in imperious form.
Prior to the Heidenheim clash, Kane had recorded 79 goals and 24 assists in 87 appearances across all competitions for the Bavarians.
His consistent scoring has been crucial for Bayern Munich this season, as the club looks to secure another Bundesliga title.
If successful, it would mark the first major trophy of Kane’s professional career.
Bayern Munich are set to host Mainz in their next Bundesliga fixture as they aim to maintain momentum in the title race.
