Hanan Buhari Pens Heartfelt Tribute to Late Father, Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari

Hanan Buhari, one of the daughters of late former President Muhammadu Buhari, has taken to social media to mourn his passing in a deeply emotional tribute.
The mother of two shared her heartfelt message via Instagram on Wednesday morning, July 16, expressing the depth of her grief and gratitude. She also posted a touching photo of herself holding her father’s hand during his final moments.
“The pain of your absence is immense, but I am finding strength in the love you gave me. You are the reason I know what unconditional love feels like.
I thank Allah for giving me the opportunity to give you the goodbye kiss.
I will endure a lifetime of missing you for the privilege of loving you.”
Her words reflect the profound bond she shared with her father, who she had previously described as a “silent achiever.”
President Muhammadu Buhari died on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 82 in a London hospital after a prolonged illness. His passing has prompted an outpouring of tributes from family, friends, and world leaders.
