Former PDP Chairman Yayough Aondoakaa Shot Dead by Gunmen in Benue

Hon. Yayough Aondoakaa, a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Tarka Local Government Area of Benue State, has been killed by unidentified gunmen.
The tragic incident took place on Friday at Wannune Market, plunging the local community into panic and uncertainty.
According to eyewitnesses, the attackers arrived on motorcycles, asked for Aondoakaa’s location, and then shot him at close range in broad daylight.
Local residents say this was not the first attempt on his life. In a previous attack last year, his wife was killed in what many believe was a failed assassination attempt targeting him.
As of the time of this report, authorities have not issued an official statement, but investigations are said to be underway.
