FG Extends Deadline for Paramilitary Recruitment by One Week

The Federal Government has announced a one-week extension for the ongoing recruitment into paramilitary agencies under the Ministry of Interior.
Initially scheduled to close on Monday, August 4, 2025, the online application portal will now remain open until Monday, August 11, 2025.
This was disclosed in a statement on Sunday by the Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (retd), who said the extension aims to give more Nigerians the chance to apply.
“The one-week extension is geared towards providing additional opportunity for applicants willing to be enlisted into any of the Paramilitary Services as well as the Board,” he stated.
Jibrin also cautioned applicants to use only the official recruitment portal. “Applicants are hereby reminded that the authentic portal address remains htpps://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng,” he said.
He further emphasized the Board’s commitment to a transparent selection process. “The Board wishes to reiterate that its recruitment process is free of charge as well as remains committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process,” he added.
