Explosion Injures One Along Mararaba-Nyanya Bypass In Abuja, Police Launch Investigation

An explosion occurred on Monday afternoon along the Mararaba-Nyanya bypass in Abuja, injuring one person.
According to Josephine Adeh, spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory Police Command, the blast happened around 2:50 PM. Following the report, officers from the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit were quickly dispatched to the scene. The area was cordoned off for clearance and investigation to protect commuters and residents.
One male victim was rescued at the site and taken to the hospital, where he is receiving medical care.
A thorough investigation, including forensic analysis, has begun to determine the cause and nature of the explosion.
The FCT Police Command urged the public to remain calm and continue with their daily activities without fear.
