A viral video has captured the moment French President Emmanuel Macron was playfully shoved in the face by his wife, Brigitte Macron, as the couple arrived in Hanoi, Vietnam, on Sunday evening.

In the brief clip, Brigitte is mostly hidden from view, with only her hands visible as she pushes Macron’s face. The President initially looks surprised but quickly regains his composure and waves to the waiting cameras.

French media quoted sources from the Élysée Palace who described the incident as a lighthearted moment between the couple. “It was just a bit of playful goofing around before the start of the trip,” one source said.

President Macron himself reportedly confirmed this, saying the two were “just joking around as we always do.”
