Easter Retreat: Appreciation to the Ondo State Executive Governor

I write with deep gratitude and genuine admiration to appreciate the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency, Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, for the successful Easter Retreat organized for students across the state.
As someone who has worked closely with students and understands the weight of their challenges and dreams, I must sincerely say that the retreat was not just timely — it was impactful and soul-lifting. It provided a rare opportunity for young people to pause, reflect, and reconnect with their values, purpose, and faith. In a world where distractions and pressures are constantly pulling the youth in different directions, Your Excellency created a space for healing, encouragement, and positive transformation.
From the structure of the sessions to the choice of speakers, the spiritual atmosphere, and the open door for students to ask questions and find direction — everything reflected intentional leadership and a clear understanding of what the youth truly need. It was more than an event; it was an experience that will leave a lasting imprint on the minds of many.
Governor Aiyedatiwa, your decision to invest in the inner development of students, beyond just academics or politics, shows the depth of your vision for Ondo State. You’ve reminded us all that true leadership is not just about building roads and infrastructure, but also about building people — especially the younger generation who carry the future of our state.
On behalf of every student who was touched, inspired, and renewed by the retreat, I say thank you. Thank you for leading with compassion. Thank you for showing that governance can be rooted in humanity. And thank you for giving students across Ondo State a reason to believe again — in themselves and in the future of this state.
May your strength never fail, and may your vision for Ondo State continue to shine.
With utmost respect and appreciation,
Comrade Adekanye Adeboye Mayomi (INEC)
