Baderinwa Addresses Accommodation, Utilities Issues in Camp

The State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Lagos,Mrs Yetunde Baderinwa has held a meeting with Camp Room Leaders to tackle accommodation challenges faced by corps members.
The gathering, which also had in attendance, the Camp Director, Camp Commandant and Heads of various Camp Committees, aimed at finding practical solution to improve living condition and welfare of Corps members at the orientation camp.
The Room Leaders made use of the opportunity to present several concerns, including faulty items like fans, leaking toilets, bathrooms and toilet doors.The Leaders also gave report about the conduct of their room mates.
The State Coordinator responded promptly, assuring the leaders that all reported issues would be resolved within two days.
She equally encouraged them to bring any unmentioned problems to the camp secretariat’s attention, emphasizing her commitment to ensure a comfortable environment for all corps members.
The State Coordinator stressed the importance of Camp Room Leaders in maintaining discipline and good conduct among their peers.
Mrs.Baderinwa who have a proactive approach to addressing issues bothering on corps welfare assured the Corps leaders of her commitment to providing conducive environment and ensuring Corps welfare during their service year.
The meeting was a positive step of having an interface between camp management and corps members in order to secure a productive atmosphere for a hitch free and memorable orientation experience.
