Atiku Celebrates Wife Titi on Her 75th Birthday With Touching Message

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has celebrated his wife, Titi, with a touching tribute as she turned 75 on June 6, 2025.

In a post shared on X, Atiku reflected on their decades-long journey together, expressing deep appreciation for her unwavering love, support, and dedication. He described their bond as one that has withstood the test of time, rooted in defiance and deep affection.

Atiku recounted how the couple chose love over tradition, marrying without the approval of their families and with only two close friends in attendance. Despite the rocky start, their marriage has endured for more than 50 years.

“On this special occasion of Titi’s 75th birthday, I’m reminded of how fortunate I am,” he wrote. “We got married in the most unconventional way, without the blessing of our parents. Yet, it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life.”

He went on to commend Titi for her strength, patience, and enduring commitment to their family, calling her a “blessing beyond measure.”

“I don’t even remember how we started calling each other Mummy and Daddy,” he added fondly. “But I thank her for her patience with all my flaws. Patience is a gift that always pays off. I encourage couples to hold on to it.”
