APC Members Storm Lagos Assembly, Demand Removal Of State Chairman Ojelabi

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) staged a protest on Monday at the Lagos State House of Assembly complex in Alausa, Ikeja, calling for the immediate sack of the party’s state chairman, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi.
The protesters, drawn from the 57 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs), carried placards with inscriptions such as “Ojelabi Must Go” and “We Demand New Leadership,” expressing frustration with the current leadership and urging a shake-up within the party.
The demonstration comes amid growing tensions within the party’s state structure, with protesters insisting that a change in leadership is needed ahead of future political activities.
A large contingent of police officers was deployed to the scene to maintain order and prevent any outbreak of violence.
As of press time, neither the APC state executives nor the Lagos Assembly leadership had issued an official response.
