Akpabio Worst Senate President Nigeria Ever had -Natasha

Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, on Tuesday, described President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio as the worst ever in the history of Nigeria.

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, said this while addressing the media after unsuccessful attempts to gain access to the National Assembly complex.

Condemning the act, the lawmaker said Akpabio has done her many wrongs.

She said: “That outburst I had on the floor was just a combination of so many wrongs that Akpabio has meted against me.

“And I will say this, that it’s a shame that we have had some many good Senate Presidents like Chuba Okadigbo of blessed memory, we’ve had David Mark, Bukola Saraki, and we’ve even had Ahmed Lawan who is currently a senator.

“This is much the worst Assembly Nigeria has ever had and I hope we will not have to suffer this anymore because it tells a lot on the individual.

“I have said this before and I’m saying it again, Senate President Godswill Akpabio runs the Nigerian Senate as if it’s a third term governor of Akwa Ibom.

She maintained her refusal to apologize, reiterating that she would rather serve the entire suspension period than concede to what she described as an unjust action.

She expressed concern over the heavy security deployment, which she considered unnecessary since she was unarmed and peaceful.
