“You Will Beg for Life” – Iyabo Ojo Blasts Kemi Olunloyo Over Allegations of Abusing Late Mother

Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has slammed controversial journalist Kemi Olunloyo over claims that her late mother died of paranoid schizophrenia and was allegedly mistreated by her.

Kemi, in a recent post, accused Iyabo of abusing her mother and linked her passing to mental health complications. This prompted a fiery response from Iyabo during an Instagram Live session, where she cursed Kemi and defended her relationship with her late mum.

“If I ever beat or maltreated my mother, may all your curses be mine,” Iyabo declared. “But if I took good care of her, then Kemi, your generation is cursed forever.”

Iyabo, visibly angry, accused Kemi of living a bitter and unfulfilled life, alleging that she survives by attacking her and others online.

“Kemi Olunloyo, you shall beg for money until you die. You’re living a pathetic life. Nothing to write home about. If your children cared for you the way I cared for my mother, your life wouldn’t be like this,” she said.

The actress also addressed accusations that she was behind the controversial Gistlover blog and responsible for Kemi’s past arrest. She denied both, stating:
“If truly I sent you to prison or handle the Gistlover page, may your curses be mine. But if not, may they return to you and your generation.”

She went further to mock Kemi’s obsession with her, saying:
“You can’t survive without mentioning my name. How else would my enemies pay you if you don’t attack me?”

Iyabo ended her rant with a bold statement in Yoruba:
“O kere si number mi, Kemi. You’re too small. You’ll rant till you die while I keep living my best life.”

She added that next time she responds, she’ll do so wearing a black bonnet and warned it would “ruin” Kemi’s life.
