Woman Born Without Womb Welcomes Baby Girl After Groundbreaking Transplant

A woman who was born without a womb has joyfully welcomed a baby girl, sharing her emotional journey of resilience and medical breakthrough.
At just 17 years old, she was diagnosed with a rare condition that meant she was born without a uterus. Determined to become a mother one day, she underwent a womb transplant in 2024—a complex procedure that marked a turning point in her life.
Reflecting on the process, she described the post-surgery recovery as incredibly difficult. She had to endure intense physical healing and rely on dozens of medications, but remained focused on her dream of having a child.
In September 2024, she underwent an embryo transfer and became pregnant shortly after.
At her baby shower, the gender of the baby was revealed to be a girl. Overwhelmed with emotion, she said the moment felt surreal, describing her daughter as “everything I had been longing for.”
Her story stands as a powerful testimony to medical advancement, perseverance, and the unshakable hope of motherhood.
