Wizkid Introduced Me To Instagram – Daddy Showkey

Veteran singer Daddy Showkey has revealed that Grammy-winning star Wizkid was the one who introduced him to Instagram.

Speaking during a video call with producer Maleek Berry, Daddy Showkey shared how a casual visit to Wizkid’s house years ago led to his first encounter with the platform.

According to him, he became curious about Instagram after discovering he was trending online because of a post Wizkid made about him. That moment sparked his interest in understanding how the app worked.

“Wizkid not only explained Instagram to me, he also helped me open my account,” he recalled.

Daddy Showkey also credited singer KCee for later teaching him how to navigate the app more effectively. He expressed deep appreciation to both artists for their support in helping him expand his digital presence.

“Life is about learning, and applying the knowledge is key to the life we live now,” he wrote on Instagram.
