Wife Killed Over Boiled vs Roasted Yam in Ebonyi

A 40-years old man identified as Joshua Nwafor has allegedly killed his wife (Charity) after living together for the past 17years in Ebonyi state, over yam.
Apparently, Joshua, on the day of the tragedy, had said they would have BOILED yam in the family but the late wife, Charity, said she would rather they ate ROASTED yam.
Not only did she just say or suggest it, Charity went ahead to roast the yam which angered Joshua.
Therefore, he dragged his late wife into their room, looked it and began giving her the beating of her life.
Unfortunately for Charity, the beating was so severe that she lost her life; An eye witness narrated the incident.
However, the public relations officer in Ebonyi state has promised to look thoroughly into the matter to find out what really happened.
This incident happened in Nsokkara, Ezza Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
