White House Shares AI Image of Trump as Superman, Sparks Controversy Online

The White House has drawn criticism after posting an AI-generated image of former President Donald Trump depicted as Superman, accompanied by the caption: “The symbol of hope. Truth. Justice. The American way.”
The image, which features Trump in the iconic superhero suit, was shared on official social media platforms and coincided with the release of the new Superman film directed by James Gunn.
The post quickly ignited mixed reactions online. While some saw it as a bold or symbolic gesture, many—including members of the Republican Party—questioned the timing. Critics used the opportunity to revive calls for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein client list, referencing past denials by the Trump administration regarding its existence.
The post has added fuel to existing political tensions, with some viewing it as an attempt to shape Trump’s legacy, while others condemned it as tone-deaf and provocative. The backlash underscores the deep divisions still surrounding Trump’s image and legacy in American politics.
