The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) is a mandatory one-year service program for Nigerian graduates (Which state pays the highest NYSC allowance 2024).

Lagos State: Lagos State also pays a high allowance, but only to the first 100 corpers to be registered. Those serving in public schools receive ₦15,000 monthly, while those serving in the secretariat receive ₦10,000 monthly.
Adamawa State: Adamawa State pays NYSC corps members deployed to their state during POP (Passing Out Parade) a lump sum of ₦20,000.
Ebonyi State: Ebonyi State paid NYSC corps members deployed to their state ₦9,757 monthly from March 2018 – March 2023. However, they have since stopped paying.
Taraba State: Taraba State pays ₦6,000 monthly, but only to a select few NYSC corps members serving in public establishments.
