Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has pledged to sustain his efforts toward building a state where every resident can achieve their full potential. He made this known in his new year message to his people, earlier today.

Governor Nwifuru reflected on the strides made in 2024, which included lifting over 25,000 residents of the state out of poverty, transitioning street hawkers into shop owners, and training hundreds in agriculture. These initiatives, he said, are testaments to his efforts of empowering citizens and boosting the state’s economy.

“Our administration remains focused on creating a state where everyone can thrive,” the governor said. “We are committed to policies and programs that promote economic opportunities, improve infrastructure, and enhance access to healthcare and education.”

Looking ahead, the governor declared 2025 as a year of unprecedented development, emphasizing plans for massive transformation across all sectors of the state. He described the new year as an opportunity to fulfill the promises of the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda, which forms the foundation of his administration.
