Victor Osimhen Rejects €35M Saudi Offer, Set To Stay In Europe

Victor Osimhen has turned down a big-money offer from Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal, reaffirming his desire to remain in Europe.
The Napoli and Super Eagles striker reportedly rejected a contract worth €35 million per year. According to sources close to the deal, negotiations broke down after Osimhen’s financial demands were deemed “too high,” prompting Al Hilal to end their pursuit.
This marks the second time Al Hilal has attempted to land the 26-year-old, having previously approached him during last summer’s transfer window. However, Osimhen once again declined the move, signaling a strong preference to compete at the highest level in European football.
The rejection is a setback for the Saudi Pro League side, who are now redirecting their focus to other striker targets.
Sports journalist Buchi Laba reports that Osimhen’s stance has reignited interest from several top European clubs. One major Serie A team—whose identity remains undisclosed—is said to be leading the race, with plans to meet both his wage demands and the €75 million release clause in his Napoli contract.
Meanwhile, Turkish champions Galatasaray have joined the chase. The club is reportedly preparing a compelling offer to make Osimhen their marquee signing for the new season. Galatasaray views the Nigerian forward as a potential game-changer capable of driving the team deep into the UEFA Champions League.
