Verydarkman returns to social media, throws subtle jabs

Controversial activist Martins Otse Vincent, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has made a dramatic return to social media following his recent release from the detention of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
VDM, who was arrested on May 2 after allegedly ignoring multiple EFCC invitations, re-emerged online with an assertive video in which he openly critiqued Nigeria’s political structure.
In the viral clip, the outspoken activist declared:
“We now have four arms of government:
The Legislative Arm
The Judicial Arm
The Executive Arm
And the Ratel Movement (we just starting).”
He ended the video with his trademark sign-off, which many interpret as a direct jab at the EFCC:
“Y’all will learn. Don’t play.”
The statement has sparked mixed reactions across social media and political circles, with many interpreting it as a symbolic challenge to institutional power in Nigeria.
