VeryDarkMan Calls Out Mercy Chinwo Over Instagram Follow, Accuses Her of Manipulation

Controversial social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) has publicly called out gospel singer Mercy Chinwo after she followed him on Instagram, accusing her of trying to manipulate him for public relations purposes.

VDM expressed suspicion over the timing of the follow, linking it to the ongoing royalty dispute between Chinwo and her former record label, EeZee Conceptz.

“I noticed that Mercy Chinwo followed me on Instagram. I was surprised. The fact that she typed my name and followed me made me suspicious,” he said.

VDM went on to accuse Chinwo of pressuring EeZee Conceptz into retracting their earlier statements about her, suggesting that her move to follow him was a calculated attempt to influence his stance on the matter.

“Towards evening, I saw that the MD of EeZee Conceptz had retracted her statement against Mercy Chinwo. Mercy Chinwo, you cannot follow me. I will block you. You cannot patronise me,” he warned.

He further stated that he would not tolerate any attempts at manipulation and criticized Chinwo’s conduct, implying that her actions are inconsistent with her gospel image.

“You have bullied EeZee Conceptz. That is why they are retracting their statement. I don’t associate myself with evil, especially those disguising themselves as gospel artists.”

VDM’s comments have sparked debate online, with some backing his blunt approach while others feel his accusations are premature or unfair.
