Controversial activist VeryDarkMan has released a series of WhatsApp messages allegedly sent by Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo, in which she accused Afrobeats superstar Davido of exploiting the death of singer Mohbad for attention.

The leak adds fuel to the ongoing feud between VeryDarkMan and Iyabo Ojo, which began after he claimed the actress privately apologised to Naira Marley and Sam Larry despite previously criticising them over their alleged connection to Mohbad’s death.

In the newly shared chats, Iyabo Ojo reportedly questioned Davido’s sincerity, pointing out that while he claimed to support Mohbad publicly, he never unfollowed Naira Marley on social media.

“My problem is not even the black, whatever is Davido, who flee down like he claimed to fight for justice, but he still dey follow Naira Marley,” one of the leaked messages read.

She went on to accuse Davido of clout chasing, writing, “That means he was chasing clout. I am so disappointed, and to think he has been saying he is the only superstar artist who stood by Mohbad. Just fake love 001.”

This latest revelation comes after VeryDarkMan had earlier published screenshots from a group chat that featured Iyabo Ojo, Tonto Dikeh, and other notable figures discussing justice for Mohbad, who died on September 12, 2023.
