Trump Reportedly Considering Pardon For Diddy Ahead Of October Sentencing

U.S. President Donald Trump is reportedly weighing the possibility of granting a full pardon to music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs ahead of his sentencing, which is scheduled for October 3, 2025.
According to Vanguard, discussions about a potential pardon are currently taking place within Trump’s inner circle, though no official decision has been made.
Combs was recently convicted by a federal jury in New York on charges related to the transportation of individuals for prostitution. However, he was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering. Prosecutors are recommending a prison sentence of two to three years, while Combs’ legal team is preparing to appeal the verdict following sentencing.
Sources say several individuals close to Combs have informally reached out to the White House in support of a pardon. However, his legal representatives have not publicly joined those efforts, and the White House has yet to confirm whether any formal request has been submitted.
Trump has previously indicated he is open to reviewing Combs’ case, especially if there’s evidence of unfair treatment. While the two once shared social circles, Combs became a vocal critic of Trump during his presidency and endorsed Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
Meanwhile, Combs’ repeated attempts to secure a $50 million bond for temporary release have been denied. Ongoing talks about a possible pre-sentencing release are expected to yield a final decision by the end of July.
