Trent Alexander-Arnold Joins Real Madrid On Free Transfer After Leaving Liverpool

Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer.

The 26-year-old right-back joins Xabi Alonso’s squad after parting ways with Premier League champions Liverpool at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Alexander-Arnold, who spent his entire professional career at Anfield, is set to be part of Real Madrid’s team for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup in June.

After a decorated spell with Liverpool, the England international is now ready to begin a new chapter in Spain. During his time at the club, he won numerous trophies including the Champions League, Premier League, FIFA Club World Cup, UEFA Super Cup, FA Cup, and League Cup.
