Tiwa Savage Opens Up About Economic Hardship: “Even Me, The Economy Don Show Me Sege”
Award-winning singer Tiwa Savage has opened up about the toll Nigeria’s economic crisis is taking on her, revealing that not even celebrities are spared from the country’s financial struggles.
Taking to Instagram, the single mother and global music star reacted to a humorous post about the difficulties of securing loans—using the opportunity to reflect on her own experience.
“Because even me sef, the economy don show me sege,” she wrote. “I’m a single mother abeg. I dey hustle night and day. May God bless us all.”
