Tinubu’s Performance Has Crippled Opposition Coalition — Wike

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, says President Bola Tinubu’s achievements in office have effectively dismantled the momentum behind any opposition coalition ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking at a public event on Tuesday, Wike said the President’s visible impact through infrastructure projects and economic policies has won over many Nigerians and left opposition parties with little ground to stand on.
“Because of the good works of Mr. President, the so-called coalition is already collapsing,” Wike stated. “You can see that people are no longer talking about it. What Nigerians want is performance, not propaganda.”
He also dismissed recent efforts by opposition leaders to form alliances, insisting that the electorate is more interested in results than political grandstanding.
