Tinubu Visits Dangote Refinery, Commends Massive Investment

President Bola Tinubu on Thursday visited the Dangote Refinery in Lagos, describing it as a monumental investment and a defining project of the era.

“Having inspected the Dangote refinery, which is a great point of reference, a great phenomenon of our time, and a massive investment, I want to thank Aliko Dangote,” Tinubu said in a statement released by the State House.

As part of the visit, the President also commissioned the newly completed access road to the Lekki Deep Sea Port. He praised both Dangote Industries Limited and the project contractor for delivering high-quality infrastructure.

“I’m pleased that the Deep Sea Port I initiated during my tenure as Governor of Lagos State is now a major success,” Tinubu said. “Users are saving substantial costs because they no longer need to trans-ship their goods.”

He further commended the access road construction under the Tax Credit Road programme, highlighting the efforts of Dangote Industries Limited and its subcontractor, Hitech Construction Company Limited.

Aliko Dangote, President of the Dangote Group, expressed his appreciation to Tinubu for his vision in launching the port project. He reaffirmed the private sector’s commitment to supporting the development of infrastructure across the country.
