President Bola Tinubu has officially sworn in Emmanuel Ibas as the Sole Administrator of Rivers State.
The appointment comes amid ongoing political tensions in the state, with Ibas now tasked with overseeing governance and maintaining stability.
The move has sparked mixed reactions, with some viewing it as a necessary step to restore order, while others question the implications for democratic governance in the state.
Ibas, a seasoned administrator, has pledged to prioritize development and unity during his tenure.
Ibas received operational directives following the president’s recent declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State.
