Tinubu Pays Tribute to Late Professor Humphrey Nwosu

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a heartfelt tribute to the late Professor Humphrey Nwosu, describing him as a statesman whose life was full of impact and inspiration.
In a condolence message delivered at Professor Nwosu’s funeral in Anambra State, President Tinubu conveyed the sympathies of the Federal Government to the Nwosu family, the government, and people of Anambra State.
Professor Nwosu, a renowned political scientist and former Chairman of the National Electoral Commission of Nigeria (NEC), played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s democratic development, particularly during the historic June 12, 1993, presidential election.
President Tinubu, represented by Senator David Umahi, urged Nigerians to celebrate Professor Nwosu’s profound accomplishments and personal fulfillments as a public administrator, political scientist, and academic icon.
The president also assured Nigerians that his administration is committed to deepening democracy and ensuring sustainable economic growth.
“May I assure Nigerians that the fragile economy we inherited is now alive and on a path of sustainable growth. We have overcome the worst. Our democracy is growing,” President Tinubu said.
