Tijani Onwenu Marks One Year Since Mother Onyeka Onwenu’s Passing

Tijani Onwenu, son of the late music legend Onyeka Onwenu, has paid tribute to his mother on the first anniversary of her death.

The iconic singer and actress tragically collapsed after performing at Stella Okolie’s 80th birthday celebration in Lagos. She was rushed to Reddington Hospital, where she was later confirmed dead.

Remembering her on Tuesday, Tijani shared a brief but emotional message:

“A year ago, today.
RIP mom
July 30, 2024.”
