Tems Gifts Fan ₦3 Million For Stunning Crochet Portrait

Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, Tems, has surprised a fan with a generous gift of ₦3 million after the fan created an intricate crochet portrait of the artist.
The fan, identified as Odum Ifeoluwa (@If3oluwacreates on X), had shared the handmade piece on her page, revealing that it took her 70 hours and 8,925 stitches to complete the tapestry crochet in celebration of her one-year anniversary of learning the craft.
“I hope @temsbaby gets to see this coz I don’t have much followers on here,” she wrote. “I finished this crochet portrait of Tems… It’s also my first time doing tapestry. I love you, Tems.”
Tems came across the post and was blown away by the dedication and detail. Reacting with excitement, the singer replied:
“Yo this is unbelievable, you are incredible!
I NEED IT RIGHT NOWWW
Can I buy it please? 🥺💖🫶🏾”
Shortly after, Ifeoluwa returned to X to share a screenshot of a ₦3 million alert she received from Tems as appreciation for the artwork.
In another emotional post, she wrote:
“OMG 😭 This has to be the best day of my life.
@temsbaby thank you so much.
@yvonneonyanta you’re amazing. The Rebel Gang is the best community ever. Thank you to everyone for your positive comments. Thank you so much 🙏”
The gesture has drawn widespread praise for Tems, with fans commending her for not only recognizing talent but also empowering young creatives in such a meaningful way.
