Renowned American Pentecostal preacher and televangelism pioneer, Jimmy Swaggart, has died at the age of 90.

Last month, Swaggart suffered a cardiac arrest at his home in Louisiana and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

His passing was confirmed on Tuesday through a post on his official Facebook page. However, no official cause of death was disclosed.
