Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Announce Engagement After Two Years Together

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have announced their engagement, marking a major milestone in their two-year relationship.
The couple shared the news on August 26, 2025, through a joint Instagram post featuring a series of romantic photos from Kelce’s garden proposal. In a playful caption, Swift wrote, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨,” referencing their respective professions.
The engagement ring is a gold bezel-set old mine brilliant-cut diamond, designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewelry, which Swift showcased in a close-up photo.
Their relationship began in July 2023 when Kelce reportedly gave Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during her Eras Tour. They were first publicly seen together at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023 and have since been spotted at various events, including concerts and sports games, supporting each other’s endeavors.
The engagement has generated widespread excitement among fans and media alike, cementing their status as one of pop culture’s most talked-about couples.
