Tanzanian Star Diamond Platnumz Weds Fellow Artiste Zuchu in Private Islamic Ceremony

Tanzanian music superstar Diamond Platnumz has officially tied the knot with fellow artist Zuchu in a private Islamic wedding ceremony held on June 1, 2025.

The intimate event was attended by close family members and elders, with the couple dressed in elegant white traditional Muslim attire. Diamond shared photos from the ceremony on Instagram, hinting at his past relationship experiences with a cryptic caption.

However, videos posted by his record label, Wasafi, confirmed the marriage, showing Zuchu proudly saying, “Mume wangu. We are married,” as Diamond stood smiling beside her.

This union comes after months of public speculation and follows Diamond’s earlier announcement that he planned to marry Zuchu before Ramadan, though the wedding was later postponed.

Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote, also confirmed the news on her Instagram, congratulating the couple.
