Tacha Eyes Political Future, Slams Wasted Potential In Rivers State

Reality TV star and entrepreneur Anita Natasha Akide, better known as Tacha, has revealed plans to venture into politics.
Speaking in a recent interview with media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the former Big Brother Naija housemate expressed frustration over what she described as the wasted potential of her home state, Rivers.
“When I look at places like Abuja and Lagos and see how far they’ve come, I can’t help but feel disappointed,” she said. “Rivers State has so much potential — so many talented youths — but the government is not tapping into it.”
Tacha, who rose to fame during BBNaija Season 4, said her political ambition is rooted in a desire to make real impact, rather than simply criticizing from the sidelines.
“It’s something I’m working on. I’ll talk more about it once I’m 70% ready,” she explained. “It doesn’t make sense to keep granting interviews and talking about governance if you’re not willing to get involved.”
The social media influencer also revealed plans to attempt a Guinness World Record for the most makeovers in 24 hours, targeting 150 people.
